FAQ

What Is BRAVO?2024-05-07T16:09:55-05:00

BRAVO (Bridging Recreational and Vocational Opportunities) is a community center that offers recreational and pre-vocational activities to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to promote personal growth and professional skill development. Activities are held onsite at 1525 Merrill Drive, Little Rock, AR, and off-site at different community sites. Our main Little Rock site consists of multiple areas to foster social and life skill development including a fully furnished kitchen, laundry room, computer lab, and main activity area. To cultivate pre-vocational skill development, ICM also offers a unique retail store, Bamboo, that sells homemade dog treats, art, and many other home décor items.

What Makes BRAVO Different?2024-05-07T16:10:03-05:00

ICM believes that people with disabilities should have meaningful options when choosing how to spend each day. People who attend BRAVO choose how each day will look for them. Some people may come five days per week for several hours while others may attend for a couple of hours, one day per week. There is not a typical day in BRAVO. One person may start their day by drinking coffee, watching the news, and socializing with others, while another person may begin their day baking dog treats in Biscuits followed by a trip to a local trail to go hiking.
